[caption id="attachment_303" align="alignright" width="168"] Norman Boyd[/caption] Protex's new bassist Norman "Norm" Boyd has very kindly sent us some information for the official Protex website I played in rock band Preacher John in the late 80s and early 90s. The band had a good degree of local success and got some good Radio 1 airplay but broke up in 1993. After that in the mid-late 90s came Stonefish, a three piece band where, like Preacher John, I sang and played guitar. Again, the band did well locally but it didn't transfer to UK success. Dead FM, another three piece came after and Lidsville in 2003 and were together for a number of years before I started writing and playing with singer Annika Graham and her band 'Shake!'
